every now and then, especially when i sit home more than doing anything else, i get what appear to be insect bites on my legs and feet, usually more on the feet, and they can take a week to go away even if i ignore them and if i rub them they get red and become seriously challenging to ignore and if i scratch them they get seriously puffy (maybe puss filled) and red and impossible to ignore and no rubbing is nearly impossible as it happens while i sleep so the best thing i can do is put an ammonia and salt mixture on the spot and cover it with a bandaid and hope to forget it is there... so i sit here distracting myself with anything i can find (tv, mostly, as i can at least imagine not being alone because i can hear and see people interacting and so what if they are fictional, right?) and while i laugh and sing there must be some way out of here i also thinkg there must be someone experiencing a similar experience and still finding genuine laughter in the relative meaninglessness of this transiet life... i mean, beside arthur dent...
maybe i should read some beckett or sartre or something...

If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
