almost giggly

a bit more groggy than giggly, but still a wonderful mood with only a few frowns (there are always smiles and frowns to every mood cuz nothing is perfect and the only way to get to a perfectly pure all-smiles mood is to delude the mind into forgetting the frowns (like is there peace on earth everywhere?... are there no children starving or suffering anywhere?... can you eat all the foods you want all the time and not get unhealthy fat?... yeah, i know, gotta have perspective to be able to laugh and be healthy and find more smiles than frowns in this world... perspective or lack of awareness... and one of my frowns is that so many people are so good at finding that lack of awareness... and one of my biggest smiles is that there are some people who actually know what i mean... people like you ya know?)... i want to remember... seriously...

ah, but waking up with this perspective is wonderful because awareness, as bittersweet as it is, feels so much better than ignorance or delusions... there is sorrow in this world, suffering and cruelty... human beings have not evolved into a rational, sensible, humane and peaceful species... humans choose to ignore the power and potential of the human mind for selfish old ways that still threaten mass extinction of the species... but there are a few of us who actively know this, share this awareness, and not only hope for healthier behaviors but actively do things to encourage each other to choose life over death, love over fear, sharing over greed, and caring over ignorance... this is the hope that inspires more smiles than frowns for me each day...
