helping friends

little things... like bones using a pencil eracer and brushing the erasings off above a bone table with bone evidence on it... most people miss the little things... friends are friends because they try to keep up with the little things... they try to pay attention and respond to the little things... it's the little things that make life more personal, more intimate, more real... not the obvious sexual energy...

that's my thing... paying attention and responding to the little things... being a friend... i enjoy doing it, so i do it most of the time... with strangers, it's called being attentive and helping people... with friends, it's called being a friend... but there are friends who just spend time, listen, and spend more time... and there are friends who do the same but also take actions, respond, anticipate and react to the friends words, actions, and expressed wants and needs...

i guess we can call the two types passive and active friends... both are friends, both care genuinely and send positive energy and want happiness for each other... it's just a style and personality and in some situations, a choice... i enjoy being the reactive friend, sometimes too much... a balance is definitely needed to be a good friend, a best friend... and i continue working on that balance...
