come share the world with me

i am reaching the last stages of this life and while it may go on for many more years, i am tired of trusting and hoping and believing in people... people seem to be most interested in power, finding fault in others, and most of all in conflict... and what's worse, the interest is not in ending conflict, it is in perpetuating it... people do things and think things that do not make sense, at least not to me... humans ignore the details of logic too often in order to justify their choices or simply to entertain themselves... the latter is relatively harmless, but some choices are foolish or even dangerous or cruel (or suicidal) and pretending they are not (or justifying them) makes no sense to me... so it has always been a challenge to trust people and that makes letting people close a challenge... i have done my best to help people moment to moment wherever... i am running out of the boundless energy i used to have... that is not to say i am done, but taking on 24/7 responsibilities in an organization that is not working may be unwise... and yet, that is one way to get the income needed to stay above the poverty line in this culture... somebody distract me... i may be ready to leave the rate race... anybody got a place off the beaten path they want to share?... a strong tent will do...

still wondering if anybody gets me, i mean, sees things the way i see things...
