meg and dia always mention how much they like mumford and son and i really never sat down to listen to them much but they are on tv at the moment and i will wait for you is haunting me as the depths of the question a i still waiting for amy? has me laughing and the reality of i am still waiting for the one makes that line, at least, a core the one song and that shudders my timbers (which is a step beyond shivering, in case you wondered) as the missing tapes of music for the one rip at the hole in my soul (or whatever we might call the heart core of me) that is waiting for the one... toronto really did a great job of undermining my finding her before my heart or brain explodes, alas...
anyway, i am not the biggest fan of the bluegrass style of mumford and sons, but i am willing to listen and hope they have words worth hearing as meg and dia certainly do and while i love their music much more than what i am hearing at the moment, they are far from my favorite musical band either (no matter how cute dia was soaking wet {alas, shades of amy on that fateful night in december all those years ago... sigh... no really, seriously deep sigh and pause and sigh again... ... and again} at warped tour all those years ago), though there are songs that hit the nail close to the head (hey, not everyone can be harry chapin or pink floyd or jackson brown or billy joel or elton john or the beatles or... this list can go on for a while and there are plenty of songs those guys wrote that rub me the wrong way musically, but they have some that hit my musical taste right on target, for the scratching the surface record in case you were curious... did i mention the moody blues or the beegees or spill canvas, for that matter?... metal bands and harder rockers (zeppelin, who, skynyrd, kansas, aerosmith, 30 seconds to mars, virgin prunes, zappa, cooper, metallica, stones, mars volta, and many others) have some too, usually ballads, but not all)...
anyway, i miss music a lot lately... hear me toronto?... i just heard barbara singing from yentl, go figure... show music, a whole universe i love so dearly... even when i am not wide awake at 4am...
narf, sigh, and narf again :)

musical distractions
If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
dumb poll (above), smart responders
all the previous poll votes were somehow erased, so, nevermind... ironically or coincidentally or whatever, the results were very close in practical numbers to the results above shown with just three votes, if you understand the mathematics behind that extrapolative reasoning... i will probably remove the poll at some point... it is a ridiculously useless feature...
SEARCH ME
the thing is, with my tendency to babble and meander and whine and allow distraction to take the lead more often than not, even in this blog that sort of meant to merge brevity with focus like some bloggers do, searching for key words does not always lead to specific information about the subject of that key word... but... here is a start at an easy way to search for key words in this blog... use the search box at the top of the blog to search for words not listed here... if ya wanna, that is... and feel free to suggest words to add to this search shortcut section... click on the words below :)
