about once a year, if that much (though there are phases where i might eat red meat several times in a few weeks, but those are rare), i cook myself a meat and potatoes meal... the meat (if not hamburger or meatballs) is rib eye or filet and either flash flame barbecued or grilled in sweet home made barbecue sauces (well, home made by combining store bought ingredients like spices, duck sauce, tomatoes or ketchup, onions, garlic, and other stuff... i might add some sweet baby rays... i like it rare and bloody inside with the outside a bubbling ooze of near liquid fat, spices, and barbecue sauces... though i am more likely to do that to a rib-eye than a filet and at times i just flash grill the meat without any flavoring when it is a good cut and i am feeling especially seriously carnivorous) and the potatoes are often fried with spice (though cheesy mashed potatoes, with or without veggies, is sometimes plated) and usually there would be some sort of salad (to be kind to my digestive tract and anus... what, are we getting too real for your taste?... some words are just not meant to be juxtaposed?... whatever could you mean?) the result is a heart-stopping (or at least clogging) meal fit for my taste buds (and any king with my taste buds)...
this is not the meal i prepared tonight, just a memory...
