and a scapegoat... and every cubs fan who gave up on their supposedly beloved team in 2003 is more to blame than bartman ever was... bartman didn't give up eight runs in one inning... bartman didn't make the error that should have been an easy double play... bartman didn't put his face all over tv as if the play on the field didn't matter... bartman was not yelling asshole instead of supporting their beloved team at the very moments thier team was falling apart and needed their fan support most... bartman was watching and listening to the game, supporting his team... bartman didn't let a team who was down 3-1 come back to win game five, six, and seven... bartman didn't choke three games in a row... bartman didn't point fingers at the team or the fans who were more interested in blaming him than in winning the game or the series... bartman did not exhibit the very worse of humanity... leviticus, alas, humans...
as much as i love jackson and through her the cubs and as much as i've love to see the cubs win the world series, i really am sad to know the history of so many so-called fans... and sad that the cubs themselves did not take ownership for their failure, that the team he loved let him down so historically... moises alou should be ashamed of his lake of sportsmanship... and him saying he knew something worse was coming was ridiculously stupid... it makes him a quitter... he said he's sick and tired of reliving the play and does not accept that his childish tantrum on the field was much more likely what influenced the collapse than a fan who prevented one out... and the cubs collapsing that game and blaming that play is ridiculous... and losing game seven was all on them... as was losing game five... it would have been two outs and not the end of the inning and the errors and bad pitching that gave up eight runs could just as easily have happened... prior should be ashamed of his finger pointing... the fans should be ashamed of themselves... yelling asshole while their team burns, some fans... giving up on game seven before it starts, some fans...
and this season, no bartman, just collapse... perhaps cubs fans have matured... we shall see what happens tomorrow...
there's always hope...

musical distractions
If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
dumb poll (above), smart responders
all the previous poll votes were somehow erased, so, nevermind... ironically or coincidentally or whatever, the results were very close in practical numbers to the results above shown with just three votes, if you understand the mathematics behind that extrapolative reasoning... i will probably remove the poll at some point... it is a ridiculously useless feature...
SEARCH ME
the thing is, with my tendency to babble and meander and whine and allow distraction to take the lead more often than not, even in this blog that sort of meant to merge brevity with focus like some bloggers do, searching for key words does not always lead to specific information about the subject of that key word... but... here is a start at an easy way to search for key words in this blog... use the search box at the top of the blog to search for words not listed here... if ya wanna, that is... and feel free to suggest words to add to this search shortcut section... click on the words below :)
