flash sleep

so i fell asleep without trying somewhere around 8:30 last night primarily because i did not sleep the night before so waking at 5am was not too big a challenge and then i drank two cups of very strong coffee today, the first coffe i've had in weeks, at least, so i was energized all day but not wired and about an hour ago i was sitting here nodding off but did not fall asleep because i want to try to watch game four of the cubs-mets series cuz the cubs could be eliminated tonight and while jackson is a die-hard cubs fan which leads me to root for the cubs, i was once a die-hard mets fan and have some mixed feelings about this series and won't mind either team winning even though i am leaning toward the cubs simply because i love an underdog and a team that has not won a world series in 107 years deserve to win a world series but they are close to the youngest team to have gotten this far along in the season and so the next few years they should only get better (so say the experts and the odds) so there is more hope for cubs fans and the cubs than there has been in many years so i am doing my best to stay awake and so maybe i ought to eat something even though i did eat something today which is rare for me but there were two meals at work today and though i passed on the lunch pizza i did eat a bagel and cream cheese for breakfast which is primarily why i drank the coffee cuz i wasn't actually tired and in any sort of need for caffeine...
