or less, i wake with work on the brain... yes, work... as if i don't put in enough hours, i find myself waking to call the night shift to check in and encourage them to take the survey corporate is running to find out how they feel about their jobs and even though i don't think the survey has been rolled out well or asks the right questions, we are paying a company to do it and hoping for the best... and then there is my problem child manager who is thinking not like a manager but rather as the staff she supervises as she runs to tell them things that are discussed at the manager's meeting which causes a divide and must stop as she is isolating herself from her peers by reacting defensively and putting staff on the defensive and i don't think she understand what she is doing by wanting to be buddy-buddy with her staff but a staffing manager cannot be buddy-buddy and i need to find a way through her defenses to help her understand that or she will not succeed in her position and her position is vital to the smooth operation of the whole operation but once again, i really should be sleeping...
anybody out there?...

musical distractions
If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
dumb poll (above), smart responders
all the previous poll votes were somehow erased, so, nevermind... ironically or coincidentally or whatever, the results were very close in practical numbers to the results above shown with just three votes, if you understand the mathematics behind that extrapolative reasoning... i will probably remove the poll at some point... it is a ridiculously useless feature...
SEARCH ME
the thing is, with my tendency to babble and meander and whine and allow distraction to take the lead more often than not, even in this blog that sort of meant to merge brevity with focus like some bloggers do, searching for key words does not always lead to specific information about the subject of that key word... but... here is a start at an easy way to search for key words in this blog... use the search box at the top of the blog to search for words not listed here... if ya wanna, that is... and feel free to suggest words to add to this search shortcut section... click on the words below :)
