ok, life is online too... and i almost completely forgot about it... yeah, i opened email and found a few (of the hundreds, thousands, even) of interest including a twitter notification that one of my followers, a writer i enjoy reading, is on a 60-day tour of somewhere with her boyfriend and they have a travel blog and to prove it... cool people, definitely cool people...
the email is still trying to download... it somehow crashed twice so far and kaspersky crashed too, so maybe it's a kaspersky issue... again... the automatic scanning/freezing/crashing issue seems to have been resolved, but since kaspersky never responded to me i wouldn't know except that the auto-scanning has not happened in a week or so... anyway, an hour later, still trying to download mail... four unexpected errors:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: '(me)', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
yes four times... and each time the download of emails starts back at the beginning... and three kaspersky crashes... any wonder why i avoid email?... not to mention the potential for depression if i actually look at the job search emails, cuz the market sucks so much in this area and my field... anyway, i was having fun until i started trying to make the email program work... it will not stay open long, that's for sure...
but there is an email i really want to respond to so i will go there now...
narf :)

so, i'm kinda thinking that your ongoing troubles with email makes it easier on you to say "hi" here than it does there, which could be a fun sort of puzzle in one way because of the number of posts you publish in a day. On the other hand I'm very likely to miss something you write back when I undoubtedly will forget which post it was that I dropped in on and you dropped in on to say something back. But then I suppose one could always just assume that the stuff that is meant to be seen is seen and the stuff that isn't isn't.
*waves and says "hi" to your fan in Romania to see if it helps him smile.*
By now I've forgotten what your blog post was about and what I was going to say in response. I digressed too far from myself.
The French Open is playing now. Do you watch tennis? I've watched since I was a kid. I don't have cable t.v., but on occasion I'm finding some highlights and even whole matches to watch.
I did get to see The Kentucky Derby and The Preakness online. i know it was probably not morally right to watch and support whatever sponsors were breaking in with ads given what those poor animals are bred to be, but still, watching them run is such a beautiful thing.
Looks like the golden hour is here. With it brings hummingbirds.
nite
a hi here is a big smile (and hi to the z man too, and the m man he plays in real life :)
the puzzle of finding comments is not yours alone lol... the habit of coming here to the blogs to check in (and more usually to drop some more words) and so i will likely find comments before emails as the email habit is to check haphazardly, sometimes maybe once a month... and at times it's been longer...
yup, what is meant to be seen is...
sometimes watch tennis in the background... most of the time tv is in the background while i am typing or browsing or reading or cleaning or cooking or eating or playing with happiness or doing something else...
i rarely watch horses or animal sports, but catch the sports news sometimes... at least they live a pampered life, ot so i'd like to hope...
as you know by now i returned to email, at least for a moment, so more there... thanks for your patience there...
it is time to go play softball now... your comment here is appreciated too :)
