not so good for the body

running a 5k tomorrow on four hours sleep will be unwise, but the softball games went on late tonight and i just got home and ate dinner and and need a shower and the brain wants more stimulation even though the body is aching (more than usual) and the arm, well, the treatment plan did not work... i bought a the generic equivalent of ben gay with three different active ingredients 30% methyl salicylate, 10% menthol, and 4% camphor... moths shouldn't bother me...

and i bought kt tape pro cuz it was supposed to be better than the regular kt tape that was $7 cheaper... and i rubbed in the creme and let it dry and wiped down the area and tried applying the expensive tape and the backing had no slice in it like the instructional video showed and it would not stick to the skin, probably because it was too humid... i wiped the skin dry and realized it will not stick with any ointments under it even if they are wiped completely dry... so i wasted $20 for kt tape - don't buy kt tape, it is a rip off and unless someone else applies it under controlled conditions, it's useless...

unfortunately, the arm is hurting much more now after pitching three games and throwing the ball overhand several times and swinging the bat at least eighty times... swinging the bat did not hurt... throwing underhand didn't hurt until the third game... throwing overhand hurt right from the start and i did my best not to do it but i instinctively threw several people out at first and third during the games and now, serious pain... hopefully it will soften tomorrow, but i might not pitch sunday and that would be the first time i let any pain stop me from playing other than the broken ankle... this is definitely not the way things were supposed to go...

no job, no softball, no lover, no cuddler, no nurse, no mommy, dang - all i've got left are the words and i'll drive us all crazy if i write more than i am already writing, aye?... life is certainly upping the challenges lately...
