just as i was getting ready to forage for food in the kitchen, harpo called and invited me over for dinner... healthy food, salad and chicken breast (shake and bake) and some veggies and chips (ok, mostly health food) with some chocolate and a klondike bar for dessert... the evening news on the tv was not the best digestive aid, but that's the anxiety most people seem to be used to in this country so i muddled through the tragedies and sensationalism of human drama as we ate... he also invited another friend and we played cards afterward... a game called tonk to start which i don't play enough to remember but it was fun anyway... we stopped when harpo was cleaned out... our other friend was ahead... and then spades and i won that coming back from being set the first two hands because i didn't have the cards to even make minimum bid... the first three hands we played three handed with a blind fourth hand which makes luck a lot stronger and skill a lot less important... the rest of the way we played cutthroat three handed where skills matter a lot more than luck...
good spur of the moment night out... hope your night went well too :)

If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
