shhhhh, that's not something we want to announce, but darned if we didn't do it already... yes, the numbers are illusions... numbers mean anything we want them to mean... and one entry a day means whatever we want it to mean... and ten entries a day means whatever we want it to mean... and every visitor number means anything we want it to mean... so what do we want it to mean?...
you, one wonderful friend, visit a hundred times a day... you, a hundred wonderful friends and fans and strangers, visit once a day... of course when there is one entry a day, there are a lot fewer visits because, after all, you don't need to read an entry a dozen times, but a dozen entries, that can invite you in for more visits... but the numbers are illusions, you are not, you are real people, some of you i've never met, friends through words even if we never speak, and some of you are friends i know...

If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?

all the previous poll votes were somehow erased, so, nevermind... ironically or coincidentally or whatever, the results were very close in practical numbers to the results above shown with just three votes, if you understand the mathematics behind that extrapolative reasoning... i will probably remove the poll at some point... it is a ridiculously useless feature...
