isn't that special?

so in between commercials the news put on a commercial with a police chief in a cast moving his arm in a punching motion while saying "i hit him as hard as i could hit him for as long as i could hit him"... ummmmm, yeah, police chief... the one who is supposed to keep the peace, or at the very least maintain a professional demeanor and not lose control... unless, of course, he carefully thought through and clearly and consciously decided to punch someone as hard as he could for as long as he could...

meanwhile, in my world where police chiefs do not break their hand hitting someone as hard as the can for as long as they can, happiness and i had a nice long walk and he came back tuckered out enough to lay down on the concrete patio and fall asleep... good walk, aye happiness?... lunch was yummy smoked salmon sandwich and salads... as i was about to eat, harpo called and reminded me that there's a birthday dinner downtown tonight and he'll drive so i think i am going to go even though spending money is stupid for me... but social isolation, as economical as it is and as much as i amuse myself well, is not appealing... i've never driven with harpo before and hopefully he does not drive like his namesake's character...
