nodding off (please?)

the head is bobbing up and down and back and forth and round and round and i so want to go back to sleep but the air conditioner guy showed up early and he's been in and out for the past almost two hours... so i never actually did get back to sleep... obviously the universe wanted me to stay way too much awake... hopefully this air conditioner repair will not be a whole day... and this is one more reason i live in an apartment and don't own a house anymore, air conditioners are expensive...

jackson and i texted a bit... she's enjoying her win in last night's fantasy football semi-final... her running back made it very exciting, fumbling on his way into the end zone costing her points and then finally getting into the end zone with 7 minutes left and she hung on to win by 4 points and get into next week's championship game... my team didn't turn out so well... the past two weeks all of my players except one grossly under-played and scored less than they usually do and so i lost by 11 points and will play in the 3rd place game next week... last year i was not in this league, but i won our other friend's league... but my team has been falling down the past few weeks and finished the season 3rd with a 9-4 record (losing the last two)... i'll need a big pick-up to finish 3rd overall in the playoffs... alas, can't win them all...

jane texted and we are going to epcot next monday... a friend will get us in for free, yay for saving $100+ bucks... the theme parks have simply gotten ridiculously expensive and i don't feel like they are worth it anymore... i had annual passes to all of them for a long long time, but have not been more than once a year in recent years... sad that greed has destroyed so much of the fun and family activities in this country...

the air conditioner guy is still working... i am still nodding big time... please, sleep... but i also must get out to the post office and for some important lawyer mail... but so want to sleep... maybe i'll eat some oatmeal... what?... i don't always eat worms :)
