timing is everything, especially when it is not good... the car played it's overheating trick again tonight and i made it to my friend's house ok, though some steam was coming out... i added water before driving home and the car almost didn't make it home... the heater came on and went off, came on and went off... the temperature gauge stayed mid-high most of the trip but trice went to the max red line (when the heat went off) and i just barely made it home... so i didn't stop for food as intended so i boo for that... and being the date it is, mechanics pretty much closed until wednesday, i will probably not be driving anywhere until wednesday... missing the xmas festivities is likely because the drive i took tonight is the same drive i'd have to take monday evening and i doubt i will attempt it... with jackson away and happiness home in my care, i don't want to take the chance of someone else driving me...
and tonight, for the first time in all the time i've been living here, all of the visitor spots are taken except for two buildings away and so i had to park two buildings away because i can't find the parking sticker they suddenly gave out a couple of weeks ago... so the car that might be broken is not even close to the door... hopefully it starts tomorrow so i can move it closer... and hopefully one of the two mechanic i know will be available on the day before xmas (or at least the day after) and can fix whatever is wrong with the car really cheap (fat chance, but there's always hope)...
whatever, timing is everything... i'm hungry... at least the strong chemical smells are gone and happiness does not appear to have had an accident... he's sleeping... i'll have to wake him and walk him before i fall asleep and he'll probably still wake me at sunrise... old dog, old schedule, he's having accidents now when we change it, so i'm on his schedule... i'll try to sleep when i come back in (it's 44 degrees outside, likely to wake me up... roll with the flow, the universe says live on his schedule and don't go anywhere for a few days... shhhh, we'll figure out the positive after we eat something... meanwhile, ignore the hunger grumps... and try not to think about the fact that the last thing i need is another big expense, but i need a car if i am going to find a job... don'tcha just love life's little obstacles, choices, and challenges?)...
i still love me and my life... and hello, and how are you? :}

musical distractions
If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
dumb poll (above), smart responders
all the previous poll votes were somehow erased, so, nevermind... ironically or coincidentally or whatever, the results were very close in practical numbers to the results above shown with just three votes, if you understand the mathematics behind that extrapolative reasoning... i will probably remove the poll at some point... it is a ridiculously useless feature...
SEARCH ME
the thing is, with my tendency to babble and meander and whine and allow distraction to take the lead more often than not, even in this blog that sort of meant to merge brevity with focus like some bloggers do, searching for key words does not always lead to specific information about the subject of that key word... but... here is a start at an easy way to search for key words in this blog... use the search box at the top of the blog to search for words not listed here... if ya wanna, that is... and feel free to suggest words to add to this search shortcut section... click on the words below :)
