waking before sunrise

is easier after falling back, as in turning the clocks back an hour to fool ourselves into thinking there is more daylight during the day because we are easily fooled like that... so the sun goes down a lot earlier and still rises later than it used to because the world just goes around like that... it's the old relativity of time thing, just like the way i put datestamps on entries in this blog the way i want to without much regard for the actual time, because, what is the actual time, after all...

good morning... out to work for a fire marshall inspection and what might be a day with my supervisor catching up cuz she's been out sick all week... we still have lots of transfer of responsibility to get to that she hasn't done (like access to payroll and budget and other corporate databases that affect staff relations and many operations) yet and hopefully that will be done today without a hitch as she really needs a lot off her plate and she needs to make time to get all that a lot off her plate sooner rather than later cuz the longer she puts it off the less clean the transition is for everyone...

be positive, be supportive, be flexible, be open to sudden changes (like last night), be a mench (as somebody in my distance past used to say a long long (long) time ago... it is a beautiful day as i relax after feeding and walking the kids (happiness is kinda off this morning, even whimpering a bit which he seldom does... he didn't eat last night, but did eat this morning... he was awake when i woke early, which is odd... nothing else out of the ordinary, so maybe he is just missing his mom even more than usual... or maybe a tummy ache from acid from not eating last night... the older he gets, the more he gets like this when she is away... curious was her usual needy self in my face the moment i rolled over, but nothing off) after enjoying a steamy shower after almost six (i think) hours sleep... all in all, inside and out, it is a beautiful day...
