(while sleeping, i hope) ... kinda sorta bittersweet win in fantasy football today as i beat jackson's team and knocked her out of the playoff race for now and hopefully she will win enough games from now on to get back into the playoffs... her quarterback is/was aaron rodgers and if you fallow football you know he was injured and is out for weeks and she had no backup so she had to pick up the best of available quarterbacks which leaves her little choice in a twelve team league... hopefully the rest of her team plays better in coming weeks... meanwhile, my team is stinking it up even though i have top draft picks (adrian peterson, victor cruz, roddy white, jordy nelson, matt ryan just to name a few) who have had, to put it mildly, off years so far... the only reason i am still in contention is i picked up some hot picks (kansas city defense, denver's rookie tight end, and other who had hot streaks or a hot game like julian edelman, fred jackson, philip rivers, harry douglas, jarret boykin, and others)...

anyway, i wish we could both make the playoffs (jackson and me) like we did last season (she won it all), but it's a very unpredictable fantasy football year so i am doing my best to keep my team in contention... it gets tougher and trickier every week to stay ahead of the pack - or even in the middle of it... just another one of our many first world problems, aye?...

hopefully i am sleeping when this entry posts...
