late laundry

jackson and i were sitting here in the living room enjoying the peace and quiet and rest and smiling about curious coming out of hiding and eating and drinking and making herself more comfortable and we were starting to nod off with the football game on tv so jackson went to bed and happiness followed and curious followed and they all curled up together in bed to enjoy la la land and i started to follow and then i remembered i did not have clean pants for work tomorrow so i found some washable casual dress pants and threw them in the washer (after removing jackson's stuff) with some of the other clothes that need washing and here i sit, wanting to sleep, but waiting for the wash to finish so i can throw the clothes in the dryer and then, here i will sit waiting for the dryer to finish to i can fold and/or hang up clothes so they are not wrinkled and wearable for work this week... in fact, it is late laundry and babble...

so much to do, so little time... tomorrow i must find a good dry cleaner in the area who is open late so i can start getting my dress pants and suits cleaned on a regular basis cuz i have five pairs of pants (that fit me at the moment) that need dry cleaning... that's $21 to clean pants, dangit... can i wear the dress pants more than once before cleaning?... twice?... more?... and then there are dress shirts and suits and... this dress up professional job can get expensive... did i mention the monthly hair cuts at $25 a pop?... and gas at at least $50 a week?... and how about tolls, even using mostly streets it's a buck a day, $20 a month at least... and car maintenance and food and all sorts of other expenses... it was much cheaper to be unemployed lol...

anyway, indy is coming back on houston in the fourth quarter, for what it's worth... the officiating is terrible (the nfl is getting as bad as the nba these days)... and curious came out to say hi and get some petting and scratching (she likes her head and jaw scratched) and then she ate some food and drank some water and slowly but surely she is making herself at home here and that is good news... and we are waiting for the wash to finish... did i mention we went to eat at sweet tomatoes after the games?...

i should look for the other casual dress clothes i have in boxes, but...
