no time for entries (chapter whatever)

there must be another entry with the title no time for entries but there's no time to look it up just now (feel free to search) cuz there's no time for entries lately (and yet, somehow, entries appear, which only goes to show the relativity of time and how low the standards and practices can go around here, i suppose) so this is yet one more conglomeration of scattered thoughts culminating in whatever this might be after all is said and done...

fun morning for sunday morning softball where we won our last game of the season by run rule in five innings and personally i felt great striking out several including the last batter and going 3 for 3 )leading off each time) and scoring all three times... again the team asked when i got so fast as i ran the bases and i simply reminded them that broken ankles heal and they apparently don't recall i was faster than they gave me credit for before i broke the ankle last year... anyway, impressed and happy on all sides... unfortunately the team reneged on going to the ft. lauderdale tournament so they gave us our money back and i might not be going away for thanksgiving which might be a blessing in disguise cuz i sure could use the rest... fun morning...

we (jackson and i) came home for an hour or so and watched the ucf win over houston that was on the dvr (jackson was at the game performing in alumni colorguard so she didn't see all of the game) and then we headed out to pick up sanford and her daughter to meet other friends at the usa women's national soccer team game against brazil... we are fans of the usa women's national soccer team and it was great to see them play live (from about the seventh row) and even better to see them score four goals and win 4-1... wonderful fun...

we went to sweet tomatoes for dinner and after that, i headed over to harpo's place to talk with harpo and curly about some business curly needs some help with and we talked and talked and here it is, whatever time it is, and i am ready for sleep but also just walking in the door so i am not ready to turn off the brain (not without giving me some me time) and so here we are writing and whatever comes next...

tired after a really fun wonderful day with friends... it's just that sort of wonderful life now and then :)

eventually i shall sleep, so nite nite :)
