as i am watching bbc tv (the new dr. who and orphan black shows) and besides enjoying the new eye candy, i realized (and remembered) that i am the doctor in the sense of his character is apart, alone, detached and yet addicted to caring and helping and saving others and more, always must find a child to adopt and guard and protect at the expense of everything, including his life... pathetic or sad or whatever, it is the perspective i chose for myself as a very young child and the life i have lived... and i wander alone, separate, apart from humans... i just don't have a tardis or infinite resources or regeneration or a magic screwdriver like the doctor does...
and jackson got home and we talked a bit and she went to bed and i watched the two shows again and i fell asleep so softly...
