smiling connections though

the world may be full of faulty wiring (see previous entry), but there are still wonderful people among the humans when the wiring does happen to connect... and yes z, i mean you... and a few more of you too who prefer the shadows which is absolutely yay in my mind... be where you want to be and thanks for keeping in touch... and as i was sorting through many dozens of comments (67 left on the previous babbling blog alone) i found one from a friend from afar from blogmad days (who remembers blogmad?) and it was like, wow, the timing was kind of wonderful...

in my mind i do my best to lose track of time and dates and special occasions... it's a childhood trauma kind of thing, so suffice to say that i learned how to avoid birthdays anniversaries and any sort of particular date celebrations because i was without such things as a child and i decided that rather than stay sad over the why=me? poor-me worm-eating quality of the experience, i started celebrating every day as much as possible because, after all, it could be the special day for someone somewhere and it could even by my last day to celebrate in this life, so why wait for a calendar to tell me it's time to throw a party... that's my logic and i'm happy with it :)

so happy birthday to you - cuz seriously, i celebrate your being alive every day :)
