yes, well then, the events of the evening, perhaps the party games or the ego food of winning at spades as usual or more likely, the adrenaline pumped during the ride home as the temperature needle rose beyond the red and the check gauges light went on and the thoughts raced through the head do i really want to walk home from here again and again from 10 miles away and 5 miles away and 2 miles away and closer, but still a long walk in 40 degree temperatures without winter clothing and wherever would i leave my car with all the softball gear and other stuff exposed on the seats because the trunk was packed with other stuff and what would i do if the stuff was all stolen and the car stripped and gone what would i do without transportation in a city that has mediocre public transportation at best what would i do if i ended up on the street again and what would that do to jackson and happiness and that must not happen must not happen must not happen and the car was willed home, but the energy flowed and flowed and flowed and a couple or few hours ago, food was ready so i paused bouncing around so wanting code red but so obviously not needing it and not having transportation to get any and stop all this before the pity party fool comes out with the worm song again cuz we don't even have lemons for sweet lemonade and i so want something sweet even if it isn't code red and there's nothing in the house that fits that bill so i should have gotten milk for chocolate milk or some sort of sweetness to drink cuz i am craving now and will satiate myself with cold water hoping that satisfies or at least placates and i will be back from a few hours ago after i eat...

the time continuum gets so warped on nights like these...

am i the only one noticing?...
