dang rains

i mean, don't get me wrong, i love rain... but i love softball too and they are not compatible, so sometimes i must choose softball and reign in the rain... anyway, shortly after the previous entry, again written yesterday afternoon but apparently i did not think of looking ahead in this catch-up game and so somehow time flew by before we got here and that just goes to show you the relativity of time and the fun of the confusion that could come of it if you don't follow the way i see and use it...

anyway, even though it did not rain yesterday, the fields were soaked from the rains that fell the past days prior and so the softball games were cancelled... frustrating that the city and county does not take care of the fields as well as they could... some are treated like crap, others are cared for more professionally... unfortunately, i don't play on the ones cared for more professionally... so no softball tonight... so no rush to finish the laundry and no rush to get the car started (it can wait for tomorrow)... and adjusting to the no softball news, i must shake off the disappointment and find some motivation for another speed walk (i was skipping today cuz of softball or at least until after softball) so now i am hanging out with jackson until she leaves for the weekend... and hungry...

time for dinner (yesterday, of course... i wonder what i ate)...
