as are drugs, but i don't play with drugs anymore so food is the drug of choice... food provides chocolate, caffeine, sugar, all very potent and effective drugs for the brain and the brain is just a drug store, after all... call them chemicals, hormones, whatever, but it's all about the drugs...
yummy bacon sandwich shall hold me over until i decide what to do for the day... hot shower was the other drug that perked up the body and improved the mood... rather dramatically, even if it does not show in the words... the irreverent giddiness of normal mood has returned, though i am subdued a bit by not sleeping last night... i did not have caffeine after all, or chocolate... just a snack...
and maybe it's the time of year...

If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?

all the previous poll votes were somehow erased, so, nevermind... ironically or coincidentally or whatever, the results were very close in practical numbers to the results above shown with just three votes, if you understand the mathematics behind that extrapolative reasoning... i will probably remove the poll at some point... it is a ridiculously useless feature...
