and now we wait

the trouble with corporations is rarely does a decision get made on the spot... the interview went as well as it could go given the shaft we had to discuss when the why did you leave you last position question came up... this was good practice as it was the first actual interview i was on in more than 11 years and i've actually only interviewed for a job four or five times in this life... must hone those skills quickly (and forgive the mistakes i make just as quickly)... overall, they were interviewing for a temporary fill-in until the person they wanted to hire is ready to move into the position, but that might work in my favor i am not exactly what the place is looking for so we could have a viable compromise to our mutual benefit for a few months... of course salary is lower than i'd like, but no hard offer was made during the first interview and hopefully i will hear good news back in a week or two...

now i want to do something with someone and nobody is around and i don't want to spend money and so instead i will update my references since i am not able to find the references page to my resume at the moment... best i call my references to let them know they may be getting a call since i first asked them all more than two months ago... ah, it was so sweet not to have to work lol :)
