i decided to take the trade... you may recall my decision on the trade offer in fantasy football concluded with not today... well, that was yesterday and now, i decided to accept the trade... if Arian Foster has a better season than he had last year, then it may be a foolish trade... on the other hand, i am giving up the projected #1 running back and receiving the projected #3 quarterback (#2 in some projections, #4 in other projections) and the projected #3 wide receiver and #12 running back... i keep the projected #5 and #18 wide receiver and the projected #6 running back (who actually was #1 last year)... all that to say the projected totals are higher than any other team... what that means in head-to-head reality is almost nothing, but it looks good on paper lol :)
if the #1 pick i gave away does what he is projected to do, it could be a mistake... but that is the fun of the game, predicting based on educated guesses and gambling that the players picked will not get injured... and this way, all my eggs are not on one player's shoulders...
so meanwhile, i offered a trade to another team that i think is very fair and may even be a big advantage for them, but hey, that's the fun of the game (who said that?)... i offered jason witten, willis mcgahee, and reggie wayne, each of whom i believe will score more points than they are projected to score because mcgahee should benefit from payton manning's passing game on what was a run-oriented team (and that probably won't completely change in one year) and reggie wayne should be andrew luck's #1 target on indy's pass-oriented offense, for rob gronkowski, which would give me the #1 tight end for three players who would ride the bench on my team (mcgahee becomes my 4th running back and only two can play each week and wayne becomes my 4th wide receiver and only three can play each week)... i just need to carefully pick bye week receivers for the three bye weeks and that should work out in my favor...
and that is the fantasy football report for one league for this week...

musical distractions
If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
dumb poll (above), smart responders
all the previous poll votes were somehow erased, so, nevermind... ironically or coincidentally or whatever, the results were very close in practical numbers to the results above shown with just three votes, if you understand the mathematics behind that extrapolative reasoning... i will probably remove the poll at some point... it is a ridiculously useless feature...
SEARCH ME
the thing is, with my tendency to babble and meander and whine and allow distraction to take the lead more often than not, even in this blog that sort of meant to merge brevity with focus like some bloggers do, searching for key words does not always lead to specific information about the subject of that key word... but... here is a start at an easy way to search for key words in this blog... use the search box at the top of the blog to search for words not listed here... if ya wanna, that is... and feel free to suggest words to add to this search shortcut section... click on the words below :)
