maybe a list this time

over the weekend, or some time in the recent past, maybe last friday, every activity became a blog entry because the day was just that busy and busy days that were just that unique and fun were rare in the past few months thanks to the foot and tight budget, but today may just be a single entry list (oh, and did i get your hopes up for a dozen catch-up entries?... hey, i am tired and happiness is begging for a long walk, so one step at a time)...

woke, showered, walked happiness, and headed out the door...

first stop was the clinic for the reading of the ppd test... i was a day late and if they were absolutely by the book they would have told me i had to take another test, but the nurse was understanding when i told her this was my second ppd for this year and the first was negative and this one was negative all weekend and still is and i showed her my arm and she signed, thought she noted it was 96 hours (these tests are supposed to be read between 48 and 72 hours)...

second stop was the new hospital to drop off the ppd test results and the HR director accepted the results and said that the 96 hours was ok... hopefully she knew what she was saying...

next stop was walmart to exchange some stuff and buy some other stuff... a food processor purchased months ago that's been sitting on the shelf cuz i didn't like it cuz it was not powerful enough was finally returned, along with an emergency lantern and flashlights purchased last week cuz the lantern did not come with it's rechargeable battery and the flashlights did not work... i bought the next step up lantern for $12 more cuz it came with the rechargeable battery pack that sold for $30 separately... and picked up a couple of pairs of shorts (wanted more, but the selection was minimal) and some rain/beach shoes for rainy/muddy days and games and a second pair of work shoes...

next stop was the batting cages and swung the 30 ounch bat 120 times and fatigue played a factor as i was about 50% on target, definitely poor showing for practice at the cages, but the exercise was definitely needed... turn it up...

next stop was the chinese buffet to eat yummy food and engage in imaginary flirtation with the cute hostess (see the excitement here if you must lol)...

next stop was play it again sports, a used sporting goods store, to find practice bats and whatever, but nothing to be found except some $1.99 official disney softballs (and i bought five just for the uniqueness, not asa but usssa balls)...
