money can buy happiness

however short termed it is, science will someday prove (or has already) that money can indeed buy happiness... spending money is a rush, a euphoria at times... possibly because it is a tangible sign of self-love and probably because some endorphines or other chemicals spout out of the amygdala or somewhere in the brain and excitement abounds throughout the body cuz hormones do that kind of thing...

just like keeping in touch does (for me, at least)...

anyway, after a friend who sells expensive sunglasses mentioned there was a 70% off sale at his place i decided i needed sunglasses for softball and every day cuz it is wise to protect eyes in florida so i shopped and shopped and consulted consumer websites and found very little actual concrete info, so i bought six pair (did i say six pair?) and now i will have sunglasses... and a spare pair in my car... and in my softball bag... and... well, i actually bought two pair at first, carefully choosing the best deal on the best pair for sports... one was $20 and the other was $30 which is excellent for sports sunglasses with any real worth (UV400, non-polarized, wrap-around, carbon or flexible frame, dark, and other factors) and then i found cheap sports sunglasses for $9.95 and $6.47 and decided to gamble on them cuz the specs meet my minimum standards and i lose or break sunglasses too often to invest in a pair of oakleys or the like... so i bought two of each cuz that met the free shipping amount (rather get an extra pair of sunglasses than spend that same money on shipping, ya know?) and yay for eye protection...

and now, time for a walk with happiness and a shower and maybe some food and then head out for two softball games as the friday night season finally gets started... careful on the foot, i know... especially without jackson there to be my conscience...
