on time so far

the coincidences continue as a friend from my old work place called this morning about getting together for lunch or dinner and we chatted a few moments... sadly, someone raided my office after i left before my friend could gather my personal belongings for me and about $200 worth of stuff was stolen - even more interesting is that there were only three keys to my office besides my own and the ceo was the only one with authorization to remove anything that was not my personal stuff... typical backstabbing and meanness of the dysfunction of the place which is why i am so happy to be out now that the shock of what they did to get me out is mostly worn off... the saddest part is realizing people making almost $200,000 a year can be as petty as any middle school diva or bully... and they are responsible for the mental health care of children, sheesh...

the personal hurt of having my stuff stolen just rubs the lack of integrity into my face more, but the lack of professionalism and failure to put the kids first was always the point of contingency i fought for and the primary reason i am not there any more... budgets matter a lot, but personal power trips and just plain meanness should not get in the way of teamwork in mental health care... or government, i suppose, but it does and there's our upside-down suicidal delusional thinking-error-wrought society for you...

meanwhile, my smile widens as i step out all dressed up to explore the possibility of a new adventure... hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and hope for the best again :)
