waiting for the charger

the car battery won't hold a charge but the autozone tester said it is a good battery so i bought a portable charger jump starter thing and it's been charging for 36 hours or so and the paperwork i found online (because there was no instruction manual in the box) said it could take up to 72 hours to get the first full charge which is cutting it close cuz i need the car running sunday and it's helping me be lazy too... i must get to the post office (40 minutes away now that we moved) to pick up a certified letter... the charger has really short cables and the charger is not supposed to be right on top of the battery but the cables seem too short to be anywhere else when connected... and starting the car with the jump start box unstable seems dangerous... and then, cuz the car emergency brake doesn't work, i don't like the idea of getting out of the car with it running... so i've been stalling, but then, i've also been waiting for the charger to be fully charged... the instructions online are contradictory, so i am waiting and hoping it doesn't take the longest of the periods the instructions say it could take to fully charge cuz that would be tomorrow night and then there's no adequate testing time before sunday when i need to be drive myself to the fields cuz jackson stays out at sanford's saturday nights... lots of wasted gas since we are going to the same fields for the morning games and then the same fields for the afternoon games, but hey, that's life, lots of wasted gas... and smirks... waiting for the charger...
