mac attack (not so big anymore)

yeah, sure, the first big mac in several years, at least, and it was no nirvana, no passage back to a sweet sensation from the past, either they were never really as tasty as i once thought or they have seriously deteriorated in yumminess and quality over the years... i remember them as cheesier, creamier, and tastier... this one tasted like like cardboard slightly soaked in weak thousand island dressing smeared with a little pickle relish... fortunately, the thursday night league is done... unfortunately, there is no healthy food along the way from work to the thursday night field... it's all fast food... there is captain d's, a fried fish place... mickey d's, burger king, wendy's, a few fried chicken places, and some not-so-clean looking ethnic places, all fast food take out... the drive is through the orlando ghetto known as pine hills and the best of the stores are shabby... so i caved and indulged in a big mac and the disappointment lingers... i think the same disappointment rings true from the last time, some years ago... it's probably recorded in the blogs somewhere, but the blog search feature is not refined enough to find "big mac" so the threads are not woven as neatly as they could be if blogger was better (certainly i am down on google, blogger, and the whole internet these days, so it doesn't take much to say they suck, ya know?)... and that almost concludes just another random date set entry...

next time, krystals... ignoring the potential for insects and vermin in the mix...
