working in firefox

because google chrome will not access google websites and blogger is a google website... seems ridiculous, i know... i actually liked chrome... maybe the google chrome programmers do not want chrome users to use gmail and blogger and google search and all the other google web portals... i thought google had a better business model than this, but then, it just may be the sign that google has gotten too big and like most corporations, no longer function in unison for the consumer but rather shoot off in different directions banking on brand name instead of good product... anyway, we shall see how long it takes for me to modify and start liking firefox now...

another long day, just sitting down waiting for food to be ready after changing, using the potty, feeding the little ones, walking happiness, and sorting laundry a bit... was gonna throw a load (of laundry) in before starting dinner but jackson has clothes in the washer and dryer and i don't feel like doing my own laundry so i moved on to cooking dinner and sitting down here to see if the internet was working tonight... or rather, the browser... puppy and kitty have eaten and gotten some love, the patio door is open and they are peeking outside, and i just checked email cuz i got a call during the day from the apartment management in response to a message i left them yesterday...

so it looks like we are moving at the end of january...

they want to raise the rent here to market rate and they have not repaired the drainage issues that flood the from walkway when there is a heavy rain, flood in the neighborhood of six to eight inches deep across ten to twenty feet of walk right up to the front door and occasionally more... the water lapped up over the door jam at least twice that i know of this past year... the patio exit turns to mud when it rains because it's just dirt, no stones or mulch or anything... and there are other issues i don't feel like remembering but have told the office many times... add to that the fact that they are under construction all over the place... but the bottom line is the flooding... they have a long term plan of ripping up sidewalks and renovating the drainage system, but they haven't done it so why should i pay for it (they probably won't have an answer to that)... the turnover is very high and it looks like we will be one more resident who does not stay beyond the first year...

frustrating, because moving sucks... and so i must make time to apartment shop again... and fix the car... and apartment shop... and so on... tomorrow morning, fix the car... yeah?...
