the moving news

so when i said everything worked out well i meant... the leasing agent worked out the $5 less rent from yesterday even though we applied today, a 1/25 lease start date which means nothing more is due until then, and a waiver of the $500 deposit... also, the dog fee was split into two payments so one is due at lease signing and the other in march... so rent there will be $5 less than rent here, no monthly pet fee (though a big non-refundable up-front pet fee that comes out to $37.50 a month) while here it is a $500 pet deposit (but also a $500 security deposit)... anyway, we don't want to be here and we want to be there so it works out great and the leasing agent was great to work with (which is really good as many apartment communities have crappy office people)... the one issue we might have is parking but rarely does an apartment community have enough parking... we are spoiled here because we are right across from all the visitor parking and there's a lot of it... other buildings in this community have much less parking... anyway, no community is perfect and as i said, we are happy with the decision and very happy with the leasing agent...
