probably... i have the nba finals on in the background and i am starting to watch it more and finding the ridiculous calls in favor of miami have not let up... especially when san antonio starts pulling away... the fouls on green (only san antonio's hottest player at the moment) were cheap calls that they are not calling on others... lebron smacks duncan in the eye (not the first time either, it's becoming a habit for him to swipe his fingers across players eyes... i don't hear the media picking up on how many times he's done it though) and there's no call... the announcers did call out the refs for the bogus call on green just before the half though... but the masses of blind followers don't look at the details of how basketball should be played, they just want to see the hype, the spectacular plays, and whatever the media feeds them (much like the way the news media manipulates public opinion)... this culture wants reality tv full of ridiculous drama and macho stupidity and that's what the nba is providing... because it sells...
still, the nba will give san antonio a chance to make it look good and if they could either get caught when a ref makes an all too obvious bias call that the media really can't ignore or the refs could lose control and san antonio could win... san antonio should win, they have a great team... miami has one great player and a few good ones, but no team...
san antonio winning does not seem to be the script because the nba seems intent on making lebron their new michael jordan and unless he makes good on his ridiculously egocentric "not one, not two, not three, not... whatever... seven?... championships... he loses this year and the drama machine (and the public) may not be able to keep sensible people who are not sheep from laughing at his hype and very foolish egomaniacal predictions of his supposed greatness... comparing him to michael?... michael won 6 championships and left the game for two full years when he was in his prime... he would have had 8 chamionpsips and there would have been no contest or discussion about comparison... the whole "king" moniker is as bad as the whole tebow hype...
yeah, i turned off the sound... and i shall play ruzzle or do other things and just glance up at the score for a while... the nba script is not a good enough book to read through, so i'll just skip to the last pages of each chapter...

musical distractions
If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
dumb poll (above), smart responders
all the previous poll votes were somehow erased, so, nevermind... ironically or coincidentally or whatever, the results were very close in practical numbers to the results above shown with just three votes, if you understand the mathematics behind that extrapolative reasoning... i will probably remove the poll at some point... it is a ridiculously useless feature...
SEARCH ME
the thing is, with my tendency to babble and meander and whine and allow distraction to take the lead more often than not, even in this blog that sort of meant to merge brevity with focus like some bloggers do, searching for key words does not always lead to specific information about the subject of that key word... but... here is a start at an easy way to search for key words in this blog... use the search box at the top of the blog to search for words not listed here... if ya wanna, that is... and feel free to suggest words to add to this search shortcut section... click on the words below :)
