turkey, unstuffed

jackson is cooking her first turkey... she's doing it in one of those bags (wonder if she checked if it's pcb free... she usually does) so it's not getting stuffed or basted... she's nervous cuz it's her first time and she doesn't cook much so she's following a cook book, which is not the way i cook so it's weird for me, but she's mostly on her own and we'll eat whatever comes out and we'll like it cuz it's made with love... meanwhile i am definitely splurging as i munch on nuts and had a chocolate ice-shake last night (kind of like italian ice with just a bit of skim milk so all the calories are from the chocolate syrup and i augmented with stevia this time to cut calories even more)... jackson is making a sweet potato and asparagus with the turkey but i am not going to eat the potato... probably will eat a ton or dark meat turkey though cuz i don't want it to spoil and there will be a lot and that's a good enough reason... starting monday jackson will be competing in a biggest loser contest at work so i will re-begin my strict weight loss diet them and head down toward 180 and points below...
