we finally bought and put up a xmas tree the weekend before xmas and we celebrated the gift exchange part of the holiday season on new years day with the college football games on in the background and some dvr'ed shows on during the commercials (cuz there are so many commercials during the games)... i did my usual impulsive shopping for gifts on new year's eve and picking somewhat at random, like magic, every gift was something jackson wanted and a couple of them were things she even picked up at the store but decided she would wait until she had more free spending money before buying it and now she doesn't have to... we started taking the holiday decorations down and the tree will most likely be out the door over the weekend and this entry tells you something about the way we celebrate the holidays around here... i mean, in case you wondered...

If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
