slept long-ish

woke a few times and considered staying awake, but the first time it was still dark outside (and raining, i think) and the second time was just after sinrise (and raining, i think) and the last time was just a little bit ago and after playing with morning wood i decided it was time to wander out into the world... well, out of the bedroom, at least... happiness was waiting at the door (hoping jackson would be back soon) but she's out at work and likely won't be back until tomorrow night or later (poor puppy misses his mommy so much when she's gone... she gave him a bath and worked on his skin with various itch-products last night while we watched tv... his skin allergies are worse this year than they have been in all the years he's lived with me... she says she's been through this before, so she knows what she is doing)...

it's already late in the day for a jog/walk (what with summer temperatures and humidity... one weather app says it's 81 degrees with 81% humidity and the RealFeel is 98 degrees while the other weather app says it is 82 degrees with a 73% humidity and a FeelsLike 87 degrees... personally, i split the difference, but any way we look at it, it's hot and humid and feels even more hot and even more humid)... excuses, excuses...
