and the lesson today is that the lower legs need to be stronger to be safe running in the cheap ($10) sneakers that i wear in the rain... even just speed jogging lightly or walking is not great in them and is not wise... but $130 sneakers in the rain?... this is not the nineties after all (reference back or ask)... so i must work out a compromise because i do not want rain to be an excuse... or money...
anyway, i pushed 6 laps and set a new best lap time and a new best 6 laps time and sure enough, this is the shortest distance measured for the six laps yet... stupid gps running app lol... just over 3 miles, but the same 6 laps measured close to 3 and 3/4 miles when walking... all the same, yay for best pace in drizzle with wet surfaces and cheap running shoes that made for wobbly transitions between surfaces and on turns (by lap has grass and sand and cracked concrete sidewalks and at least a few right angle turns)...
must continue, even if nobody else does... queue song :)

If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
