used to be i loved cartoons on tv, but over the decades cartoons have been injected with way too much realism mixed with superhero macho stupidity and instead of silliness and escapism it's like watching a combination of the evening news, a war drama, and a bad soap opera... so this saturday morning i am watching on demand, catching up on ncis and bones... ncis has some powerful stuff going on, but so far they glossed over the most powerful stuff... maybe it's just to keep the loose ends dangling and maybe it's to spread the emo around to other characters and maybe it's to let the audience sort of catch their/our breath... meanwhile bones is typically a slightly lighter emo vibe and more sexual energy and more silliness and intellectual humor (more geeks, or squints) so it's a fine follow up to the tear-jerking episodes of ncis this morning...

If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
