this one is a relatively inexpensive take out place, the other one was a mid-priced restaurant, both were very good and in some cases outstanding... though take out bbq spare ribs are usually an iffy gamble, these were excellent, very excellent... crab rangoon were ok, well stuffed, but not so crisp by the time they got home... that's what happens when they are in the wax paper bag too long... probably much better munched in the car on the way home, cuz definitely stuffed well... the rest of the food was very good, so this place is definitely the #1 chinese fast food place around here so far... oh, and that's it's name... #1 Chinese Take Out Restaurant (without the so far)... ok, what is lacking in creativity they make up for in fast delicious food...
this week i spent more money on food than i have in a few months... but hey, i must explore the new neighborhood, right?... yeah, well, maybe i should unpack the kitchen and stock up the pantry with some supermarket food shopping... we had agreed that i would leave the kitchen unpacking for jackson so she could make it more her kitchen and she liked the idea, but she hasn't had time to unpack much of her own stuff in her room, no less the kitchen... i suppose getting a new job might be a good idea... being responsible is so not fun :)
