we apparently have evening shift workers living upstairs... there is quiet most of the evening and then there's a lot of walking around after midnight... i hope it doesn't keep jackson awake, or me once i start going to sleep before midnight again... evening shift workers living on the second floor can't help but make too much noise in the middle of the night for those who work days... shhhhh, let's not fret or make more of this than it is so far... hopefully they won't have overnight company or parties after midnight and will show some consideration if we become friendlier...
after we settle in a bit more we'll try to find him or her or them home and introduce ourselves... who knows, maybe the feet clunking above my head belong to the one :)

If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
