If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?

yeah... sometimes it's easier to see the good all around when morning comes... cuz sometimes at 2 a.m. there are monsters in your head (or maybe under the bed)... but it doesn't seem like it matters where they are because they seem scarier in the dark night... but fortunately, the sun rises and you realize that there are more fun choices to make inside your own head... and that while sometimes there are lapses back, mostly what you see is moving forward...

life is mostly fun when we really want it to be cuz almost all the time, we have the choice to enjoy the moment or to not...
i don't know why people seem to choose not so often, but i'll just keep choosing to enjoy the moment as much as i can and hope everybody joins in...

sounds like choosing wisely is what you're doing with the softball team :)
well, i decided is was time to stop being loyal to people who treat me with little or no respect and caring and be loyal to myself a bit... seems to have worked cuz i feel better than i have in several monday softball nights...
the monday league has been the least organized and weakest competition of any of the leagues... eight of the teams are really pretty bad and there were maybe two or three teams with any decent players and i just got a text letting me know my team lost to one of them...
jackson wants to go watch the semi-finals and championship next week and asked me to go so we might just to have something to do...
... loyalty, respect and caring for yourself...
sounds like a good choice... funny how those good choices make you feel better, sometimes in the short run, sometimes in the longer run :)
gotta take care of yourself or you lose self-respect and dark clouds roll in and self-esteem slides down the slippery slope into the valleys of despair and the pits of depression...
mustn't go there, since we have a choice...
