but then again, i suppose it depends on what one is looking for in porn... if it's all about the sex and visual stimulus and meaningless hook ups then it's probably just right... i still look for story lines and character development and (shocking, i know) logic in any story i watch so just about everything on tv is pretty stupid from that perspective... paging mr. ferguson... paging mr ferguson...
maybe it's just my ego or something... there've only been a few people within touching distance in this life that inspiring me to want to sing anything like i want you to want me, after all... oh, i thought you knew... i compromise less and less as the years roll by... so i am alone again, naturally (for me at least)... and now that mila has lost herself in her childhood crush and gotten herself carrying, i've got to find another iconic model of the nearly perfect sensual fantasy, or image, actually...
by the way, i am so tired this entry would never have been written had i not written it later...
narf :)

do you enjoy craig ferguson?
much of his humor is aimed at those who are titillated by sexual innuendo and some might consider his style sophomoric or immature, completely devoid of any redeeming qualities that would appeal to an intelligent adult, but luckily i don't have that sort of pole up my ass... there are moments when his references might fly right over the head of his audience as his time slot has typically been the gathering ground of quasi-intellectual pot-heads (tom snyder fans, anyone?) still awake after the saturday night live crowd pass out... and perhaps my amusement with his meanderings is partially based in my own egocentric self-mockery (do we have similar styles?... i am not the one to judge from the inside) and irreverent fringe associations relate...
anyway, mila kunis?... craig went on a trip with mila?... i think i just had a double orgasm... i mean here i am sitting here innocently praising and quasi-qorshipping craig and regis philbin mentions mila kunis?... excuse me, i've got to wash my hands now...
i mean lisa bell is seriously cute (though she was cuter when she was eager to please than she is as a confident anchor... still attractive, though she looks like she can put on the pounds easily like most of us, aye?... i know, silly of me to criticize someone i'd love to play with but hey, i am living on the edge, no doubt... i love her nose... i don't love too many noses, for whatever that's worth... i seem to have wandered off on a tangent, huh?), but mila?... talk about irreverence... or my russian girlfriend... oh, but mila knows how libbo feels about her... and that i ain't too proud to beg, either... of course lol lam :)
i blame craig ferguson... and the robot... and of course, my penis... but seriously, so anyway, if you are local, you should not miss the last three entries...
whatever, right? :)

awake asleep
or somewhere in between... with crap late night tv on the tube (except for craig ferguson, who is obviously my latest intellectual love interest, oh, if only he was mila kunis and single and here sitting on my lap instead of this laptop, you'd never know cuz my fingers would be doing something other than typing these words, but then, you'd miss me and wonder if i died or something, so good thing, aye?...
norah jones has such amazing eyes...

it could have been babble
or not, but be that may be or not to be, the question remains even more elusive than the answer, because, after all, while we can’t see the wind, we usually know where it is cuz, well, we can feel it, but the question, who can feel the question?...
the yearning?... the burning?... the churning of desire?... what could it be?... who could it be now?... hunk a hunk a what?... between your legs?... just where is your locus of control, anyway?... blowing in the what?... you must remember this, or something… a big snake does not make you a big man, but what’s in your cup, that might matter a bit more… when was the last time you sat around with friends (or strangers) and really got into music?... playing or singing or making love, even, really into it…
you haven’t lived until you as born again in song…
someday, that may be a religious epiphany, unless people get smarter and open their minds more… there’s always hope… meanwhile, this is the story, continuing, cuz stories are like that (at least in my mind they are)… and with a 22 inch monitor to my right and a 24 inch monitor to my left and a 16 inch monitor on my lap, don’t let anybody tell you size doesn’t matter… but 16 inches on a lap is quite enough, thank you very much… speaking visually, the crispness of the true HDMI 24 inch monitor is startling, even with the lame windows vista aero crappy video features (why do they downgrade features when they upgrade software, now that is a good question… not the question, but a good one…
so this is (if you’re counting) the second file in the new electronic space (new laptop, not new blog, but the latter is rather obvious, no doubt) and the laptop teaches me a bit more about what it and the new MS Word 2007 software is about… and the little kid is all excited, naturally, cuz there are all sorts of new toys (or features, to be technical) to explore and learn about and play with… if only there was time… sigh and alas…and what I need to do, among many other tasks, is to either… (task sub-routine 1) enter every cd into a database or spreadsheet…(task sub-routine 2) install itunes and rip every cd I own… or (task sub-routine 3) rip every cd into windows media… of course they might be 10, 20, and 30, but that’s beside the point, perhaps… anyway, the trouble with the last idea is the database in wmp is not as easily managed as the database in itunes (wmp is kinda wimpy too, it seems) and it would not tell me it has duplicates until after I rip and it would take a long time and it would use a lot of memory… the trouble with the second idea is the same as the third idea except for the database being better manageable than the third idea… the trouble with the first idea is it is manual entry and takes time and I do not get all of the information about each cd… ideally, a scanner would be wonderful… to scan all the info into a database would give the best of both worlds… but without a scanner, the database seems the way to go… and so away I went…
meanwhile, back in thereal… I am noticing looseness in the usb ports already and I hardly plug in and unplug the usb connections, so the life of the port is quite possibly going to be way shorter than I’d like it to be… that could definitely suck… does any laptop brand prevent that from happening?...
and the anti-virus has been uploading for the past three hours… something like 7kps… to yes, I know (and not an amused craig ferguson I know, either… I still haven’t been able update the operating system cuz the file is too big… I haven’t had time to get back with the microsoft tech support person who emailed me… yes, an actually tech support person from ms emailed me… I was shocked (and this is a craig I know... amazing, aye?... I know… anyway, I keep hoping the aircard will find better reception if I actually go mobile with it… but there’s just not been anought time for leisurely roaming with the laptop… or writing… or much of anything else leisure… but 7kps?... so I will say it again… att aircard internet service sucks…
I’d sigh and alas some more, but who has the time…
this is what was, sort of, as I was slipping into game mode… and I disappeared for two plus weeks and the story continued, even if nobody noticed but me… it is still wonderful to find someone stopping by the check in from time to time… as if we really care, you know?... who has the time?... ah, a question… who’s laughing now? :)

good morning good morning, YEAH!
oh yeah, woke on my own just five or six hours later... the chill in the air and the bladder might have helped, but the last thing i remember is david letterman saying something amusing and looking forward to watching drew brees taken superbowl, sandra bullock be adorable, and somebody else do something else, sing, most likely, all in anticipation of welcomeing craig ferguson into my new living space hoping the connections would continue to amaze and delight (space, location, roommate, restaurant, and so on)...
do not recall exactly when i passed out, but i believe this was a six hour very deeply sleeping nap... oh, and the wonders of sleep and rest... the body aches amazingly well... definitely... the physical is suffering from a lack of regular exercise and bloat and that is the promary reason for excessive fatigue, spatial disarry, disorganzization clutter, and poor hitting (softball... yes, i've been in a hitting slump recently... pitching is still ok, though slightly less accuracy is noted... so do some more serious daily exercise, dummy :)
yeah, life is so very verry verrry good to me :)

yeah, still awake
it's not late, after all... at least not for me, though i have been going to sleep earlier and earlier as these years of working day shift with an 8am meeting to get to every day has been taking it's tool on the nocturnal rhythms... i am enjoying herring in sour cream and onions as a midnight snack... i know, high fat, saturrated no less, and cholesterol, and sodium... my blood pressure is probably a zillion over a half zillion, at least... but that's ok, i'm not too worried until it gets up to a gazillion over a zillion, then it could be trouble... a heart attack waiting to happen... but i'll probably stroke first... then live another sixty years as a vegetable in a state institution... end my days being a burden on the taxpayers... that'll serve em right... or me, that'll serve me right... sigh and all...
and here i've got sushi lunch and big dinner pparty plans for tomorrow, aye... so me and craig ferguson will burn the after midnight oil (and fish oil, while we're at it) with whomever he has on because there is absolutely no reason to have a tv unless you've tgot cable and even then, it's extremely hit and miss... actually, craig is strange enough to amuse me... maybe it's been the full moon this week... whatever it is... serious bloat tonight... should have just gone to bed when i got home... wonder when this ridiculously extreme self-indulgence is gonna wane so i can return to the other great feeling of really taking care of this body...
maybe i ought to go back to singing lonely songs...
ah, for someone to laugh with :)

i'm supposed to be catching up
but of course craig ferguson and food and music distracted me, not necessarily in that order, in fact, in a different order... i made something that might be called oatmeal cheese cake... first i ate cottage cheese, fat free of course... then i toasted up a sandwich of fat free cream cheese and added some cherry preserves and grape jelly and ate that along with oatmeal made with fat free cream cheese, fat free milk, some splenda, and a touch of vanilla... fascinating mix of flavors that could only be described as delicious...
what did you have for dinner? :)

cuz he rambles
i've just realized, that is, in my consciousness, why i enjoy craig ferguson so much... it's cuz he babbles... he just rambles on about whatever comes to his mind, fresca, mazda, legoland, and he almost always ends up concluding with positive suggestions...
hmmmm, a little like looking in the mirror...
Sunday, May 10, 2009
yeah, him too
seth mcfarland is another on my list of people i'd like to amuse myself with, that is, i'd like to have over for tea and crumpets or something... he and craig ferguson might make an interesting conversation, even if i just listened... sunday evening cartoons, i'll miss them when i die...
hope your day has been a barrel of wobblies too :)

not so ideal hours
yeah, this experiment of later meeting time and sleeping later is not working as well as it might if i didn't have so much to do at work and so, i've got to get back on an early waking track next week... so long craig ferguson and wacky guests... or is that sleep who is going away?...
good morning :)

awake already?
I've got a feeling there will be many duplicate titles in this blog since the auto-complete memory from the previous computer that told me when i was repeating a title is gone along with everything else on that hard drive, for whatever that means or is worth...
yes, somehow i woke again on my own and i watched craig ferguson so i didn't get to sleep early and i barely slept all week and maybe three hours since tuesday and add to that i've been fasting since wednesday or maybe tuesday (195.6 on the scale this morning) and i expected to crash and sleep for twelve hours or more and here we are...
the new toy is obviously influencing much, as is the time of year more than it has in more than a decade, probably longer... i wonder what else and how deep the changes are going and how long they might last this time... anyway, there is fatigue, but also a good feeling...
hope your saturday is starting off with a smile too :)

update session, part one (yeah baby)
in that ever so coyly cleverly cutely annoying austin powers kind of way crossed between craig ferguson's i know and with all the cool sensual fitness of milla jobovich and all the silly sensual innocence of mila kunis and all the simple sensual sweetness of meg ryan and all the quirky sensual humor of neve campbell and all the nerdy sensual nostalia of zooey deschanel and (oh, all the mix of sensual beauty of libbo's dream date, that is... that is, that's the tone of the yeah baby, m'ok?...
what i meant to come here to say is that i am taking a break from the catch up session because blogger says i posted too many entries today and i have to do a captcha to upload entries into my own blog, imagine that... so i don't know how long i will have to wait for the captha crap to go away, but i will hope for soon and try again in a few hours and again late and after that and if necessary, wait 24 more hours and then, start a whole new catch up session and we will call that one catch up session part two just to differentiate the sessions cuz they will have different flavors being different sessions and yet still they are part of the same overall catch up file...
hopefully that makes some sense and you will enjoy what has been, what will be, and what is...
so we are about half way through and this catch up session, part one that started here and pauses now until whenever blogger google lets me post freely again... i know it's a form of madness that carries us onward even as we are missing what was gone because the truth of the heart is ever so slear (clear, even) and the best we can do is go back to the drawing board to find the way to merge everything so what i mean is no matter how many words i write i really couldn't tell you if what is wrong or right cuz in the end it is for you to decide precisely what is true and what is illusion and until i get back you can enjoy the flood of entries that you can find if you have the time and the inclination to click click click and to that end, if you don't have the time to read tham all, this paragraph offers a taste of what you might miss if you merely go forward...
what you don't know, you will miss (even if you don't know you miss it)...
narf :)

yes it is
craig ferguson woke me from a nap with his odd brand of ambidextrous (or some word like that) humor... all sorts of giggling references (intelligence?... cleverness?... silliness?... nonsense?... genius?... all of the above below sideway and more?)... and double and triple entendres and questionable statements and just good old fashioned what did he say? type things that leave one wondering if they (or he or she) should laugh or be shocked or offended or what... like is that rude or funny?...
and facial expressions that are so cartoony expressive...
anyway, i am going to get some water and drink ir and then fall asleep... might even go to bed... cuz you aren't here so it's not rude... if you were here i would stay awake and talk to you and play with you and have fun with you and... no, i didn't mean you are a toy, i mean, unless you want to be...
yes, it is :)

loving the music
wow, found norah jones on austin city limits and she'[s got seriously intensely beautiful eyes... i enjoy her voice and style too, but would love to see just how lost i could get in her eyes... yeah, i personalize everything... too much so for normals, but then, i'm not looking to be a normal... just me :)
and who is katie melua?... katie melua?... yes, katie melua... maybe the better question is why in the heck does it take so long for the #1 female artist in the UK and even all of Europe for two years or more who sold more than 10 million cds to become a household word, or even known over here?... silly americans...
well, when asked who her biggest musical influences were, she said Paul Simon's "Hearts and Bones", Jeff Buckley's version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", Joni Mitchell's "Marcie", Bob Dylan's "Masters of War", James Taylor's "How Sweet It Is (to Be Loved by You)", Chuck Berry's "No Particular Place to Go", Portishead's "Glory Box", Björk's "The Pleasure Is All Mine", Camille's "Au Port", Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name", Bobbie Gentry's "Fancy", Finley Quaye's "Even After All", Suzanne Vega's "Caramel" and Babyshambles' "Fuck Forever".
also Queen and Paul McCartney... I like her diverse tastes (and musical knowledge)... so i munched on a cream cheese and jelly sandwich with some grapefruit juice to start and a touch of the new chocolate protein drink i bought tonight when i was out shopping for precious... so i'll be up a bit longer now... just in time for craig ferguson, isn't that special? :)
loving it, you? :)

wide awake, as usual
whatever fatigue was pounding in the head and stiffening the neck several hours ago when i woke and wrote the previous entry is long gone, as usual, and the hour of friends and the hour of malcolm in the middle leading up to the hour with craig ferguson once again leads me and this body (and the brain it contains) away from sleep and toward the kitchen for an after midnight snack...
and it's not a groggy push myself awake and it's not hyper wired either (cuz long term fatigue is real), but i did bounce into babble in real time™ and once again, the laughing fool simultaneeously securely independent and hopelessly hopefully romantic dances off into babbling oblivion silently singing damn the need for sleep and full speed (or stumbling, a least)ahead (or stage left, for that matter)...
and heaven's to mergatroid, where oh where is the nocturnal partner of my dreams, anyway? :)

thirst comes in many flavors
there may be profound meaning in some words on the internet and if you find anything like that around here, feel free to alert the press... or the president, at least, because the world needs more pickle juice and if all it takes is a piece of paper like credentials to open the door to success, why do we bother with keys?... what if you never flossed, never brushed, but rinsed your mouth with antiseptic mouthwash for five minutes every day?... when the results of that experiment comes through, we can take on the stupidity of political ads... vote for me because the other guy sucks and you are stupid enough to buy this without noticing i suck too... september and october tv is so badly stained by political insults (insulting our brains more than anything else) that it is challenging to stick around to watch any shows... please save us with irreverence, mr ferguson...
nothing to drink besides water and i don't feel like water so i go thirsty because i'd rather have something other than water and all there is to drink is water... tell me about the children dying of thirst in the dessert... clown socks save the day...
snarf...

and then, c, is
see?... there i was with the wireless card turned off and the remote in my hand with a finger on the off button as craig ferguson was signing off when the tv flashed previously on ncis and sure enough, the hook reeled me in... ot the line reeled me in after i bit the hook... but the hook was the line, so... anyway, here we are again... and while libido may never compromise again (or so it thinks), still, a voice somewhere in my head (or somewhere within earshot) says so where is my ziva?... what?... huh?... sure...
the end of the world is not know it... n,c,i,s...
shhhhh... zzzzz :)

slate said perfect
is anything perfect?... maybe, but who am i to judge cuz i'm sure not... except inside, intentions, i have perfect intentions at the core and when i remember my intentions, i am as close to perfect as i can get, but still not quite perfect so when i read slate magazine call david letterman's final show perfect, well, i have to check it out and i must say, a little bit of wow did come over me... check it out... even if i was not enjoying chocolate milk this week, or watching young natalie portman in the professional, who really does have amazing features and is quite distracting, even at a young age (i never realized the professional was a lolita film, but i was not pondering the near perfection of portman at the start of this entry, it was the thought that slate said perfect in reference to letterman's last show... better quality can be found on the official youtube site if you prefer quality over quantity)...
as little as i watched the show (or tv not dvred... as you probably know if you read me, i glance up now and then when it is on and i am in the living room and fall asleep to it more than i actually watch anything with both eyes and the rest of my senses), i am gonna miss it from time to time... so letterman is gone and ferguson is gone (and comedy loses on tv and wandering a bit onto another plane, i wonder if there are any right wing commedianes around, anyway... but then, humor is relative... after all, there are people who laugh at lynchings and stonings and other cruelties or ignorance and even some people who think limbaugh is funny) and i guess i'll check out fallon to see celebrity talk and colbert when he comes around...
i think perfect is overrated...

oh silly, read both
read me, read me (click here) and click through the links inside
no no, read and click through on the links in this one
silly puppy, all the secrets of the universe (or maybe mostly to me) are contained within the links within the entries within the blogs within the interweb, especially the entries linked in this entry and the entries linked in the entries linked in this entry and (did you notice any entries linked in this entry yet?... i know, i can be so subtle it's baffling... probably because it's craig ferguson's birthday... even if mila kunis isn't on)...
so i just must have known, having said just a few hours ago, "no harpo, i don't want to come over and hold your leg tonight" and i had no clue that i would be watching craig (without mila, i know) celebrate his birthday with the william of shatner (shat what?... shat where?) because i've already seen the other stuff that was on and i somehow checked the listings and found it was minutes away from the start of craig (so i saw a bit of one of the hottest smiles and cutest faces and sweetest bodies {feel free to rearrange the adjectives as you wish} on tv on extra... and maria is cute too... see what i did there?... seriously, maria, i'd hold your leg if you came over)...
what?... who?... where?... when?... (don't ask why)... (or how)... ok, this entry will hold our place until i get back and catch up a bit, maybe even babble... even without mila... or maria... wandering away now before i start singing west side story.. tonight?...
whut?... oh narf already :)

perseverence
or bullsugar, but for the moment here in (e)thereal, we'll call it perseverence and continue as if the sharing potential hoped for between the irreverence asides and casual flippancies and blah blah blah if they can't take a joke remains the deepest thread through all the writings i've ever done (remember?... responders to that knew me before i was of legal age in any state, or maybe just want to)... because if you were here, we might actually share...
played out a mock fantasy football draft after watching ncis and the ucf knights win big on national tv and the uankees pop out another victory in their dynasty of dominance in baseball (love them or hate them, statistically they have dominated their sport for 100+ years more than any other team in any other sport)... and now, craig ferguson's sometimes silly sometimes serious sometimes intelligent sometimes sophmoric irreverence shall amuse me... you had to know, right?...
oh, and i napped too... how about you? :)
