already asleep

a dozen different kinds of pasta (and one eggplant parm i didn't get to cuz there wasn't much of it and i respected the carb-loading runners right to eat first)... it was good to see jane and meet all her running friends (the most active running club in town i think... people actually move to the area when relocating in order to be closer to the healthiness and athleticism)... also good to see bear when he got home from work (bear plays softball on sundays and is also in the running club and jane decided to rent a room to him when her kids went away to college... she asked me what i thought and i thought it was a great idea and it seems to be working out well for both of them)... also good to see her son, who we shall call speed no matter what i might name named him before, short for speedracer, for now, and catch up a bit... and also we invited lucy over and we sat and talked out by the pool for hours cuz we hadn't seen each other in more than a month... and the food was yummy...

and i got home and headed to bed, go figure, influenced by healthy people and healthy habits... who knows. i might even jog/walk tomorrow...
