so where was i again?

some nights i give into sleep and enjoy nine or ten or more hours of sweet sleep... some nights i am wired and full of words and sit here writing for hours and before i know it, morning has broken... some nights i just lay awake with the tv on or in silence resting but not ready for sleep... the sleep-filled nights are wonderful for the mind and body, but i look back at them feeling a missed opportunity, especially when i sleep alone, because i want to share so much... the wired nights leave me energized, even as i head out to work of life without sleep or with minimal sleep, because the brain releases all sorts of happy hormones enjoying the self-expression, creativity, clarity, and potential for sharing... and those restless nights when the brain and body tries to force sleep while at the same time the brain and/or body is restless wanting physical or intellectual exercise but laziness or stubbornness or even pointlessness leaves me laying there wondering if anybody is awake to text or talk or share anything cuz that, i think, is what i want and what may be keeping me awake, well, those are not nearly as much fun as the other nights... tonight was one of the latter nights where i want to share but words written here were not going to be enough to satisfy so i lay restless and wanting and wondering...
