that is what a survey or a complain inspection is about, digging into the details (and dirt) of processes and documents and finding the flaws and then, creating fixes... sometimes the fixes can be presented right there on the spot and sold to the inspectors and they decide the flaw is so on it's way to be fixed that they don't write it up in their report as a citation... sometimes though, there's no simple fix to sell and the fix needs to be worked on so a citation is unavoidable... in our case today, we danced around (that is, i provided enough solutions on the spot to avoid citations) all of the issues except one and that was one that, alas, needed a citation... all in all though, a good day and according to my boss, i did great (she is so good for the ego)... now she can work with the department that needs to fix the process that was cited and i can go back to work...
it is seriously sweet to have a team to do this job :)

If people had visible signs or meters that told something about them, what would you want it to tell you?
