number crunching

ok, so instead of all the other things i mentioned in the previous entry, i sat down and crunched numbers... i sent the crunching to jackson cuz, after all, she is sharing this journey even though i am covering expenses cuz i would like her support as we share the journey... and appreciation feels good too...

they waived on application fee, so it's $99 to apply (each, but one waived)... and there is a $300 admin fee... and a $450 pet fee... and a $500 deposit (refundable if the place needs no repairs when we leave)... and rent will be around $860 if it doesn't go up more by the time we get there... and then there is setting up utilities (including cable and internet) and such, another few hundred including the first month bill... moving could run $500 since the arm isn't up to it and i don't want to subject my friends to moving all the stuff with me watching... did i mention i just paid rent here?... and how about the car, overheating, may need a major repair... and the softball team payment ($560) is due soon... and i am not working... am i insane?...

so consolidating... $399 minimum today... hopefully the deposit and pet fee can wait until lease signing and hopefully i can negotiate that delayed until 1/25... $950... $27.75 a day pro rated rent for January, so just under $200 if they go with 1/25... then $860 due 2/1... $500 move... so minimum $2909 this month for the apartment... then the car and softball (which i hopefully will get back this month) and utilities next month with next month's rent (cuz i'll put that on the credit card)...
