how disappointing

college football is run for the money and not for the fans... and once again a game touted as a championship game is a gross disappointment, a fiasco really... and worst of all, an insult to fans of the game...

notre dame did not belong on the field in a championship game... the media build up of their defense was a flat out lie, notre dame had no defense at all... alabama scored at will and they have had a much tougher time with several teams this year... and notre dame had no offense... no running game at all and a freshman quarterback showed the inexperience to the point of embarrassing... worse, all through the game and closing the commentary after the game the announcers were wishing that oregon or texas a&m were on the field... it was very sad and an unfair product sold to the fans...

sad side notes were the chauvanist lust the announcer showed for the quarterback's girlfriend from start to finish... he sounded like a teenage horndog in a locker room, not an older man lead announcer of the biggest college football game of the year... the internet (twitter and facebook and beyond( blew up as much about his disrespectful comments and demeanor as much as about the ridiculously imbalanced matchup...

alabama coasted and was not tested in this championship... oregon, another 1 loss team, was cheated out of their chance... as was texas a&M who should rightly claim the championship since they beat the champions... it'll be a little better with a 4 team playoff in a couple of years, but i still say 8 team playoff is the way to go...

just glad i didn't pay to see it...
