sushi

we went to out favorite local sushi place and i tried soup and salad cuz i was still pretty full from the late buffet lunch and jackson had two rolls and winter shrimp that she loves and yummy yummy... i tried a new soup and it was not bad, kind of a hot and sour tomato based mixture of veggies, lots of mushrooms, and two big shrimp... yummy but i still prefer a standard hot and sour soup to the tomato base... the crab and avocado salad was delicious and we shared and yummed for a while...

i had a craving for ice cream before we sat down, but the belly was telling me no more for the moment so we headed to walmart to pick up a few things like a lantern for the place and tarp for jackson's bike when it's on the porch )it's in the dining area now cuz we don't have a dining room set, but jackson wants one so it'll go back out on the porch eventually or when people come over) and vitamins for me and some basic other stuff... it'll be christmas again tomorrow when we unpack the bags...

the lights were back on when we got home and we spent a bit of time exploring out new softball bags and being way too excited about it for normal people (jackson is fun) and then settled in to rest and then she went off to bed and i stayed here to watch some tv and catch up on the internet until i started nodding off and that was the past that happened as i will mention sooner or later in this time-adaptive blogging life... some days are just too much fun not to record, even if most of the fun is the mundane routines, in fact, especially when the fun is found in the mundane usual routines... i hope you find fun in your daily routines and make some new adventures out of them too... it can be done, it's up to you...
